Broeks' Bed & Brood is located on the edge of the village of Meerkerk, on the Broekseweg. 'Broek' is a beautiful winding country road on which many old farms can still be found. A small road, between Meerkerk and Ameide, in the polders on the border of the Alblasserwaard and Vijfherenlanden. An area with wide rivers and beaches, windmills and fruit orchards and the Zouweboezem. The latter is a unique nature reserve with many reeds and water features and with many special birds, including the bittern and the purple heron.
