In addition to the beautiful view of the marina, you are in a unique location with a rich history. The Muizentorens used to protect the city wall against the ice and water of the Linge. During times of war, cannons were even placed there to defend the city! In the 19th century, three houses were built in the towers, but no one actually dared to live there because the enemy came over the water. The towers were empty for a long time and were only inhabited by mice and rats, hence the name 'mouse towers'.

Reservations are not necessary at De Muizentoren. Inside there is room for 16 people spread over 2 floors and outside there is a beautiful terrace on the Linge.
